What we do?

Chumia charity plays a vital role to enhance life of underprivileged children such as orphans and children with autism.

It all started in the year when Godwin (Chumia director) Got a chance to be among very first staffs of the NG’O TATU PROJECT which deal with enhancing community development in Tanzania, is when he got a chance to see different life’s and bad situation of the children when visiting communities in the same year he met a friend of a friend (Hollo Bukombe (autism children’s teacher) and got heartily touched with orphan and autism children, these children has been sadly, neglected, abused and  are no longer happy to live in their own society. Since then, for that he started to use portion of his salary to help them in monthly basis. He knew he cannot do much but can do something.  “Not he who has much is rich, but he who gives much”

1. Climb for a cause: Collect, fundrise and donate or organize a group. Scaling the highest free standing mountain in the world is a perfect way to raise money for this great cause.
2. If you have space in your luggage you can bring the following items for the children’s in need

• Autism Physical activity toys
• Book, pens and pencils
• Crayons, coloring pencils
• Toys: duplon building blocks (big Lego)sensory toys, simple puzzle
• Drawing books/coloring books
• Clothes: socks, sweaters. Shorts t-shirts
• Bed sheets

3. Sponsor a child (education)

Make your traveling dream come true while makes other’s too. Chumia African travel does not charge extra for charity and no any hidden costs. Remember this charity comes from your pocket from our profit.
